BACKGROUND

Edwardian adventurer Adam Llewellyn De Vere Adamant finds himself a man out of time when
he is frozen in 1902 and revived 64 years later in the swinging 60's. 
Adamant was a gentlemen, an athlete, charming and could handle himself very well in a scrape. 

The show had parallels to that other 60's phenomenon The Avengers with script consultant Tony
Williamson working on both shows. Bizzare plots and dastardy villains found their match with
Adamant as he trys to find his feet in this strange new world.

Even his old enemy The Face was introduced in the second season to add a little spice to
the show but only lasted two short seasons...great series though.
