BACKGROUND

The Double Deckers seven mischievous kids that would meet in an old doubledecker
bus they had converted into a clubhouse. Scooper was the apparent leader of the
gang, and Albert, the street sweeper was the only regular adult in the cast.
The other kids included Spring, Sticks, Doughnut, Brains, Billie, and Tiger who had
a stuffed tiger named Tiger. 

A hit in it in the UK, Here Come the Double Deckers never really caught on with
American audiences and was cancelled after one season. After another season of
Sunday morning repeats, the show left the colonial airwaves permanently.
