Voted by the BFI as the best British TV show of all time, who can argue about this. 
Faultless comedy that is just as funny on repeated viewing than when we first saw it. 
Created by ex-Python John Cleese and then partner Connie Booth, it followed the absurd
events and mishaps in the life of hotelier Basil Fawlty and his long suffering wife Sybil. 

Everything about the show was perfection from the scripts to Bob Spiers direction and the 
excellent cast of players. This is a rare breed of comedy that can still send you into fits of
laughter although you have seen a particular episode about 100 times.
