BACKGROUND

The dandy adventurer from Department S gets his own series thanks to Sir Lew Grade's
wife rather liking Peter Wyngarde. The show was pretty straight forward action and
adventure and did little to further the character of Jason King but it was still a jolly romp
and with it's tongue firmly in it's cheek, the show remains camp and fun.

Wyngarde has also appeared in The Avengers in the classic A Touch of Brimstone, Doctor
Who and played No.2 in an episode of The Prisoner. 

He was also Klitus in the 1980 camp remake of Flash Gordon.
