BACKGROUND

A different take on the Superman legend with the focus more on the relationship of
Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Excellent interplay between Cain and Hatcher this show went
on to produce some great episodes as their love grew more and more.

Clark was a more up to date man with a bit more cool and less of the nerd with Cat
Grant having the hots for Mr.Kent. Excellent production values with some cool flying
sequences and SFX, the show was alwyas keen to add something new to the plot from
Lex Luthor getting the girl and marrying Lois to Kal-El fineding that not all of Krypton
was destroyed.

By the fourth Season things were getting a little repetitive now that Lois new of Clarks
identity and this lost a lot of the magic of the earlier shows. A fine series though and one
of the UK's most successful imports and with the new series Smallville and upcoming movie
on the way, it seems that old Supes is flying again!

It was often rumoured that movie Superman, the late Christopher Reeve was to appear in
an episode as an alternate Kal-El, but this was just idle gossip.

Tracy Scoggins went onto play Commander Elizabeth Lockley in Season 4 of Babylon 5
and odd episodes of Crusade.

Teri Hatcher is currently in smash-hit US series Desperate Housewife's.
