BACKGROUND

Projected to run a full five Seasons of 26 Episodes, The Persuaders failed to ignite the all
important American market where it was pitched against the fledging Mission: Impossible.

A great series all the same as it followed the exploits of Danny Wilde and Lord Brett Sinclair,
two playboys who come in contact with Judge Fulton who blackmails them into teaming up
fighting crime.

The interplay between Moore and Curtis is excellent and the obvious highlight of the show.
This was one of ITC's better series with a real glossy feel to it with some superb scripts and
lively action to compliment Wilde's and Sinclairs womanising.
