BACKGROUND

Irwin Allens third series was still firmly in the fantasy realm after Lost in Space and
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and told the story of two scientists, Tony Newman
and Doug Phillips who are accidently lost in the corridors of time and are unable to get home.

After a promising start with the excellent Rendezvous with Yesterday, things got poor very quickly.
Doug and Tony were fighting for their lives in the many stock film time periods that were available
to the producers at the time (even the film stock was totally different!).

By the end of it's first and only season things were getting really silly with silver painted aliens
and plots that were way off the central premise of what the show was about...time travel!
