Marq has directed all MEV productions to date which include DAWNRAZOR (2001), SHELF LIFE (2002), FAIRYTALE ADVENTURE (2003) ON MY PATCH (2003) REVERSING THE POLARITY and RETURN TO RAVENSWOOD (2004).
Marq is also an actor and has appeared in numerous short films including WOMAN TROUBLES, NORMAN’S VIDEO DIARY, WHEN I LIVED UP A TREE, A BIT OF A TURN UP and Cameron in TRUE STORIES.
Television credits includes CRIMEWATCH for the BBC and a promotional trailer for the Discovery Channel. Marq also created the role of Wayne in Karen Broadbent’s new play LITTLE BIRD and is the organiser of the annual SUTTON FILM FESTIVAL.

Recent work includes the a radio pilot CITY OF THE SAVED, voice over trails for UK Gold and the character of Xen in Big Finish's Doctor Who audio play SINGULARITY opposite Peter Davison. He also lent his vocals to animation pilot LAZARUS PRATTLE. Recent film work includes Falconer in WHITE VAN MAN for Muckle Films Ltd. and Bob Grossman in INCIDENTAL WEEKEND. He is currently working with the London based comedy sketch group THE NYLON EFFECT .

MATT WOLF
Cole Dawnrazor / Alex Grant Shelf Life / Narrator Fairytale Adventure / Matt Goldberg Reversing the Polarity 

Having completed a law degree in 1994, Matt entered the acting profession with his stage debut as Flute in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at the Bridewell Theatre. Other notable stage roles include Perry in THERE'S JUST THE THREE OF US, three seasons in the long running NEWSREVUE, Ted in THE PRIVATE EAR and the lead in MACBETH, both for the OSO Theatre Company.
An established voice-over artist, Matt has provided his vocals to Channel 4, MTV and The Travel Channel and on TV, he has appeared in EASTENDERS and GRANGE HILL. Short films include SELF DEFENCE and BLIND SPOT.
2001 saw him direct his first short film THE CAVENDISH PROFILE, a crime thriller with a dark and unexpected conclusion. The film was screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival and Sutton Short Film Festival in 2002.
He is also to be heard in the new BBC Radio 4 sci-fi comedy NEBULOUS with Mark Gatiss and David Warner that was broadcast in January 2005 and has just recorded the second series with the likes of Steve Coogan and Peter Davison. Matthas also just completed a tour of WHEN HARRY MET SALLY and is the voice artist for the new Carlsberg Beer commercials in international territories (everywhere but the UK and Northern Ireland). 
He also appeared in the Channel 4 docu-drama SURVIVORS.

Matt is currently living and working in Los Angeles and can be seen as Sir Cador Bain in DRAGON, Jaques in SKID MARKS, Mitchell in TRANSMORPHERS and as the Endeavor Officer in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3: AT WORLD'S END.

HEATHER TRACY
Fay Dawnrazor / Madeline James Shelf Life / Gwen Goodie Return to Ravenswood

Heather has had a wide and varied acting career. For MEV she played Fay in DAWNRAZOR in 2001, Madeline James in SHELF LIFE in 2003 and Gwen Goodie in RETURN TO RAVENSWOOD, which is currently in post production. Other credits include THE BILL, Lady Capulet in ROMEO & JULIET, Fantasticke in OLDE SUMMERS WAKES & REVELS at Shakespeare's Globe and STEPPING OUT for Bill Kenwright Productions.
Heather is also an accomplished voice-over artist and provided work for Toshiba, IBM, McDonnell Douglas, RAC & EEC.
She has worked for Big Finish Audio Dramas, appearing in the Doctor Who Gallifrey series and The Tomorrow People (with the original cast). She has also recently recorded pilot radio series CITY OF THE SAVED and pilot animation LAZARUS PRATTLE.

GEORGE MURPHY
Jerrard Dawnrazor / Himself Shelf Life / George Kirby Reversing the Polarity / Man with no Name Return to Ravenswood

After graduating from The Studio School of Music and Drama with his highly acclaimed Sir Toby in Twelfth Night, George appeared in a few low budget films before joining The Project Theatre Company in 1993. Since then he has continued to find success in the UK and in Australia where he was nominated for a best stage actor award for his multiple roles in The Odyssey. In 1996 George achieved cult status for a small role in the film UNATURAL SELECTION, a spin off of Doctor Who. George has acted succesfully in theatre, film and television gaining critical acclaim for his performance as psychotic Terry in (by pure coincidence) SHELF LIFE at the 2002 Edinburgh Festival and also played Danny Lawless in THE NEXT BIG THING at The Old Vic. On television and film he has appeared in THE BILL and THE LOST PRINCE.

George has recently spent a year in Vancouver to pursue further acting work and appeared in the 2006 remake of THE WICKER MAN, playing the Head Villager opposite Nicholas Cage.

JOY TINNISWOOD
Kara Dawnrazor

Joy studied Drama, Film and TV at the University College of Ripon & York St John, where she specialised in New Theatre and Contemporary Dance, graduating in 1997. She began her film career however back in 1995 when she took her first film role in The Watermaiden, a short mystery drama by Wandsworth Film shot on 8mm. Since then, she has taken lead, supporting and featured roles in several short and feature length independant films of various genres from black comedy to action thriller. As a stage actress, her roles include Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare's Macbeth, Viola in Twelfth Night and Isabella in Measure for Measure, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also runs film company EgoTrip Films with her partner Gary Andrews and produced a number of shorts and features including a gangster version of Macbeth, Twefth Night and dark thriller Avenging Angel.

ADAM SHAW
Ash Gorman Shelf Life

Adam has worked extensivly in Film and Theatre and recent roles include ROCKFACEII for the BBC, THE BILL, FOOTBALLERS WIFE'S, and Idle Jack in DICK WHITTINGTON in Coventry. Adam has also brushed with Hollywood by essaying Sgt.Delancy in Steven Spielberg's SAVING PRIVATE RYAN opposite Tom Hanks and Tom Sizemotre and appeared in JUST VISITING with Jean Reno.
In 2001, his acclamed performance as Adam Cruikshaw in Simon Welford's WALKING WITH WALKEN won the Manhatten Short Film Festival and was shortlisted for a BAFTA nomination.

Recent work includes the character of Morris in the second series of DOCTOR WHO for the BBC, appearing in the episode RISE OF THE CYBERMEN.

SADIE McMAHON
Louise Shelf Life

Sadie graduated from the Academy of Live & Recorded Arts in July 2001. Her theatre credits include The Trap at the White Bear, the lead role in Camille, Mavis in Stepping Out and Merteuil in Les Liasons Dangereuse. Currently Sadie also toured Broken Blossoms with Negativequity Physical Theatre Company and was the evil Snow Queen in Wheelhouse production of Snow White.


DAWN RHODES-SHAW
Susie Blake Shelf Life

Dawn trained at Hull University where she met her future husband Adam Shaw.
Credits include 2.4for Skyman Films, ALICE IN BED at the MAN IN THE MOON and as Dawn Crowther in the award winning WALKING WITH WALKEN (shortlisted for BAFTA nomination) also for Skyman Films.

Dawn is also on the management staff of the ACTORS'S CREATIVE AGENCY.

MARK BENNETT

Mark has worked with Director Marq English since 1989 and has appeared in all MEV productions since then. He played bitter actor Mark Fielding in the spoof TV comedy REVERSING THE POLARITY - MEMOIRS OF TIME AND SPACE (2004) and its follow up WHATEVER HAPPENED TO MARK FIELDING (2006).
On TV, he has appeared in CRIMEWATCH REVISITED and played in a number of fringe plays including MADNESS AND YOUR CIVILISATION (Camden Arts Theatre) and NATIONAL AMNESTY (Pleasance Theatre). He has appeared in the short films THE CAVENDISH PROFILE (2001), TRUE STORIES (2004) and voiced Ordinary Sounding Man in the Radio Pilot CITY OF THE SAVED in 2005.

MARK TRINICK
Miles Cavendish Return to Ravenswood

Mark trained at DSL from 1999-2000. Since graduating he has worked on a number of films including Paradox (earlier this year), Cinemaniac and The Temple Project which was shown out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2002.  His theatre work includes Acclaim (Comic Relief), A Small Family Business (Criterion, West End), The Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers and The Sorcerer.  He has appeared in Body Hits (BBC) and worked for BBC Radio for five years recording voiceovers and idents.  He has also recorded a number of radio adverts for commercial radio.


SARAH LEE-ALLEN
Rachel Dawnrazor / Receptionist Shelf Life / Sarah James Reversing the Polarity / Swallow Return to Ravenswood / Whatever Happened to Mark Fielding?

Sarah has a BTEC in Performing Arts National Diploma. Sarah has been part of MEV for the last four years appearing in Dawnrazor, Shelf Life, Fairytale Adventure, Reversing the Polarity and the upcoming Return to Ravenswood. Sarah has done summer season for a well known holiday firm and has been a member of the Carshalton Pantomime Company for nearly ten years, playing fairies through to the lead in Cinderella. Sarah's real passion is singing and acting but has been known to have a bit of a dance bug as well! Sarah loves being part of MEV and is enjoying gaining acting experience.


GIULIANO ZAMPI
Head Minion Dawnrazor / Himself Shelf Life / Gerald Burke Return to Ravenswood

Giuliano has worked extensively in films and has built up an impressive CV. Recent credits include the lead inthe short film  JACOB, JAILBREAK for Channel 5, THE MAN WHO ATE HIMSELF TO DEATH and No1 LONGING No2 REGRET with Jenny Agutter.

Karla graduated from the Academy Drama School in 2002, and has since been described by directors as a talented and versatile actress. Her credits include; ALL THE KINGS MEN (BBC), AMY (lead) in Mop Head Wilkins. Rupert Shaw Reversing the Polarity / Narrator Return to Ravenswood

Rupert Booth exists...he is sure of that. No existential confusion for him, oh no.
He is an actor and writer and his short stories, generally co-written with Barry Williams, have appeared in a number of anthologies. He's also produced and /or directed a number of comedy short films, dramas and excursions into the odd. He lives near Newcastle with a dog called Zardoz...Zardoz also exists.
He has just written the first in a series of books based on the TV series THE PRISONER with Jon Blum that has just been published in the United States.

David has extensive film credits and was a featured actor in the 20th 007 James Bond movie, DIE ANOTHER DAY, as Mr. Kil’s Personal Assistant & Jinx’s Personal Driver. Other film credits include a Gotham City guard in BATMAN BEGINS, the ringside DJ in SHINER with Michael Caine, V FOR VENDETTA, and FINDING NEVERLAND with Dustin Hoffman & Johnny Depp. Other recent film crew credits include being a stand-in & double on HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX & The Prisoner Of  Azkaban. He has recently worked as a stand-in with Russell Crowe on the new Ridley Scott film A GOOD YEAR and is currently standing-in for the Villain: Kratt on the new James Bond film CASINO ROYALE.

Ritchie has been with collaborating with MEV for over fifteen years and has been involved in all the productions since we started in 1989. A keen musician, he has provided sounds to all of the films as well as music for satellite medical series EURO TRANS MED and THAMES ACTION. He has musical directed a number of youth orientated shows and is currently putting the finishing touches to ALMOST 40, an album of song collabotarions with his band COFFEE IN ZURICH.

EVE WEBSTER
Laura Cavendish Return to Ravenswood / DeFlorest Bevan Whatever Happened to Mark Fielding?

Eve studied at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and gained a BA Hons in Performance where she was selected to represent the school in the 2004 Carleton Hobbs' BBC Radio Drama Competition.

Recent work includes Edith in Cockpit Theatre's production of MR KOLPERT, Nora in A DOLL'S HOUSE for Nottingham New Theatre and the BBC production of RESURRECTION. Before studying acting, Eve gained a BA Hons in Archaeology which is perfect for the role of Laura Cavendish in RETURN TO RAVENSWOOD!

Recently, she performed in the Canal Cafe Theatre's famous NEWSREVUE show in North London.


DANNIE CARR
Fiona Lemming Reversing the Polarity

Dannie trained at Sheffield University, gaining a BA Hons in Performing Arts and a postgraduate diploma in professional acting at The Bridge Theatre Training Company. Since graduating, she has appeared in various theatre roles including ODE TO BILLY & SCRAP, Puck in A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHT DREAM and Lady MacBeth in MACBETH. She has stage directed KING LEAR, TOP GIRLS, MARAT/SADE and ANIMAL FARM.
She provided the trailer voice over for various episodes of BBC 3's BURN IT and played Morli on three audio CD's DALEK EMPIRE for Big Finish Productions.

Adrian studied drama at the Rose Bruford School in 1984 along with Heather Tracy achieving a BA (hons) in Theatre Arts. He has appeared in numorous plays including TWELTH NIGHT, CANDLEFORD and the brliiant NEWS REVUE.
He has appeared in many short films including PURGATORY, WAKING MRS. KUMAR, THE COTTINGLEY FAIRIES and SHIEK MOOZIE.


INDIA FISHER
Herself Shelf Life

India has extensive theatre credits and has just understuded in DAMSELLS IN DISTRESS by Alan Ayckbourn at The Duchess Theatre in the West End. Recent work includes a national tour of TRACTOR GIRLS playing Caz, FLY ME TO THE MOON with Sylvestor McCoy at the Edinburgh Festival & Man in the Moon, she has played in the famous NEWS REVUE at The Canal Cafe Theatre and Edinburgh Festival as well as Murder at The Gate Theatre.
India is also the current Doctor Who companion opposite Paul McGann for the BBC licensed Big Finish audio productions playing Charley Pollard.
She has worked on many of these new adventures so far.

JASON WELSH
Angus McKay On My Patch

As well as playing Angus McKay in ON MY PATCH, which Jason originated for a stand up routine, he also wrote and directed the short film BROWN STRIPED RUFFLE.
On film, he has appeared in NO LONGING, No2 REGRET, A FAMILY ON FIRE, DANGEROUS TWINS, FATEFUL LOVE playing a Private Investigator and KICK IT OUT FOR CHARITY playing a soccer hooligan.
He was also one of the main voice artists on the Carphone Warehouse's 'Me and My Mobile Life' campaign.


ETTA BELL
Bell Return to Ravenswood

Etta has recently left Drama School.  This is her first time working with MEV Productions and a
welcome chance to play a tree loving, didgeridoo dancing Hippie! Theatre credits include Scout in
Popcorn, The Crowne Plaza, Ed Fest Dominique in Lucky Stiff, The Crowne Plaza, Ed Fest Dunyashka
in The Marriage, The Shepkin Theatre, Moscow Desdemona in Othello, The Shaw Theatre Isabella in
The Barber of Seville, The Royal Opera House, Bianca in Stags and Hens at the Wimbledon Studio
Theatre. Film credits include  Alice in Wake Up Call, Sabrina Forte, Anna in Warped Reality, Marie
Schuller and Mike Altman Singer in Adventures of George the Projectionist, BAFTA Secretary in
Wheelspin.

CARYS LEWIS
Beverley Trudghill Return to Ravenswood

Carys graduated from The Oxford School of Drama in 2003 and her first professional role was  Kaz
(lead) in Walking Forward's production of Never Saw the Day which toured colleges, schools and
small venues in the UK and Ireland. Since then she has had a variety of roles in fringe theatre, short
film and pantomime. Carys enjoys working with new writing and has performed in several rehearsed
readings of new plays. She recently appeared as Liz in an Excelsior King's Pictures production GUM, 
a short film using improvisation.


JAMES 0'DONNELL
Lee James Reversing the Polarity

James studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and since graduating, has appeared regulary with the Royal Shakespeare Company essaying various roles in THE MERRY WIFES OF WINDSOR, CORIOLANIUS, HENRY V and HENRY IV Parts 1 & 2. He played Guilderstern in HAMLET directed by Sam West and the role of Alex in a European tour of A CLOCKWORK ORANGE.
On TV  he has appeared in MONSTER TV, THE WORLD AT THEIR FEET and as Robert in TEDDY BEARS. He also played a court dancer in the Cate Blanchett movie ELIZABETH.


JENNY-ANN TOPHAM
Moon Return to Ravenswood

Jenny-Ann is the daughter of a Tiller girl, Grand daughter of a Flapper and a Mother to two adorable
kittens! She has been in the business for sixteen years and during that time, has been a showgirl in
Paris, a Cancanning Napkin, a senile Sheep and a singing Dominatrix! 


GARY ANDREWS
Fight director & Minion Dawnrazor

Gary studied Illustration with Drama as a second subject at Exeter College of Art & Design, graduating in 1983. He has worked as an animator ever since and has directed several animated commercials. He made his theatre directing debut in 1992 with Shakespeare's Henry V. Since then he has directed more than a dozen plays in the Surrey and Sussex area as well as taking major acting roles in many other productions. He is also a set designer and fight arranger with nearly 40 fights to his credit. He also runs film company EgoTrip Films with his partner Joy Tinniswood and produced a number of shorts and features including a gangster version of Macbeth, Twefth Night and dark thriller Avenging Angel.
