ALEXA BROWN BIOGRAPHY
Alexa Brown studied Drama at Hull University, where she played the Sister in 'Roberto Zucco' at the NSDF, Stephen Joseph Theatre. She has trained at the Actors Centre with tutors such as Jeremy Stockwell (RADA), Elspeth Gibson (Voice) and Huw Prall (Dance). She has toured internationally in children's theatre and TIE. Her character repertoire so far includes a 1940s ghost, a flapper in the musical Jellicoe (Shaw Theatre) and an accidental murderess in a 1950s-set comic film by Indigo Jones Productions. Sunbow's Day in the Rain, in which Alexa played the female lead, won first prize at the Unicov Film Festival in the Czech Republic and the silver medal at the Brno 16 International Short Film Festival. Alexa has recently returned from Los Angeles, California, where as well as completing two months training at TVI Actors Studio, she also performed stand-up at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood.
