Music is always an important part of any movie and with RETURN TO RAVENSWOOD; an original folk soundtrack was
needed to enhance the rural feel to the film. Three original songs were composed and arranged by Heather Tracy
(who plays Gwen Goodie) along with some traditional English folk songs from the Sixteenth Century.

Also, incidental music was recorded with just fiddle, guitar and flute to tail end scenes and underscore the visuals.

The tracks recorded were THE RAVENSWOOD REEL, this plays out over the end credits and is a fully-fledged knee’s up
folk number. ANIMA is a female voiced, predominantly acapella composition full of mystery and mysticism and WICKED, a
female lead track with driving rhythm guitar.

The music was recorded in the studio in Woodford, East London on 22nd April 2006. Managed by Baz Meyer and Duncan Williams, they not only produced and engineered the soundtrack but are also providing the final sound mix for the movie.

The fiddle was recorded in South London on 7th June 2006.
