INTRODUCTION
This was our first investigation with the group and anticipations were naturally high. It’s worth pointing out of course that we
were aware that mistakes could be made as we worked out how we performed as a team as well as working with the structure
that had been put in place for the evening.
We had come to an undisclosed location in Surrey and at the owner’s request (because of the property being a business); we
shall refer to it only as THE STUDIO HOUSE. It was Alexis, the co-founder of the our team, who’d reported that members of
staff (as well as herself), had sensed an odd presence in the building and seemed to think it could be that of the business’s
former owner ‘Danny’. Alexis had known him before he passed over and testimonies from others associated with the location
seemed to confirm this.

WALK ROUND
Alexis walked us round the location first and talked us through the work they do there. In a last minute absence of our Medium
Juliet, it fell on her daughter Hannah (a developing psychic in her own right) to take lead on the walk round. In each room, we
each discussed the atmosphere and how we felt in that particular area. Hannah found herself drawn to the corner of Studio 1
and a porcelain dog, which belonged to the former owner Danny. Marq decided to place a personal item as a trigger object by
the dog with the camera locked off for an hour.

STUDIO 1 / OBSERVATION ROOM 1
Switching the cameras to night vision, we began our evening vigils in Studio 1. As soon as the lights were off, we caught
potential light anomalies sweeping past Alexis, Bryon and Lisa. Everyone felt quite relaxed and calm during this time and
eventually decided to move into the adjoining Observation Room 1. It was here that we attempted a séance to see if we could
pick up on anything. Upon calling out, we heard a few faint knocks but this could most likely be down to the natural structure
changes in the building. However, a prominent knock came directly after a request for an audio response.
We also caught a few more light anomalies around Alexis who seems to be the focus of most potential activity (maybe because
of her association with the location). Alexis pointed out that if it were Danny, he would be most likely laughing his head off
at our attempts to communicate. She said that he always had a great sense of humour and would be greatly amused by what
we were doing!

BREAK
As the group took a break, Marq was slightly baffled to find the crew room door shut as this was left open by him…nothing
paranormal unfortunately as Byron pointed out that he had shut it after retrieving a camera from there.
Alexis took a phone call from a friend associated with the premises and gave a few tasters to Danny’s personality. Although
Alexis kept it from the rest of the team, the friend told her who his favourite singer was to see if it was picked up on later.

OBSERVATION ROOM 2
After a brief vigil in Studio 2, which didn’t seem particularly active, we moved to the second adjoining Observation Room. It
was here that we attempted further vocal communication lead by Hannah. Although nothing was heard, we did capture a
couple more light anomalies across the table where we were attempting to have a torch moved that was positioned in the
middle of the table. A few minutes later and out of the blue, Hannah just said ‘Elvis’ - this indeed was Danny’s favourite singer,
she also pointed out that she had visions of him dancing away in life to Elvis in the Studio areas, which Alexis once again
confirmed. Hannah made it known that she was focused on the torch and nothing else when this image popped in her head.

STUDIO 1 / BATHROOM
We ended the evening with a further vigil in Studio 1 and although we picked up a further light anomaly, nothing else was
reported. Lisa however, took the camera and investigated the bathroom area, as this had been a strong link to the dowsing
tests earlier - she had to laugh though as she had forgotten to press the ‘record’ button until a few minutes later! She did
pick up an unusual ‘hush’ sound and closer analysis of this recording seems to indicate that it is Lisa herself randomly making
a sound although she does not seem to recognize her voice in this.

CONCLUSION
For a first investigation, the results had proved very interesting. The trigger object placed in Studio 1 had produced no activity
but light anomalies, knocks and strange voices had given the team opportunity for open-minded discussion. Were these paranormal occurrences or do they have a natural explanation? You decide – but the evening at the Studio House did provide the team with
a taster of things to come.
