TIMEQUAKE
was the hit TV sensation of the early nineties, gathering a huge
fan base and
establishing itself as the No.1 Sci-Fi show on British Television.
Stories that
blend fantasy adventure with time travel enthralled it’s dedicated
following
with fan clubs and conventions springing up all over the country. It
also made
stars of its lead actors Mark Fielding, Rupert Shaw and George
Kirby
who will be forever linked to the mystical alien character of
Draven.
And then it
was cancelled.
Falling ratings
and below standard scripts meant the death of this once
innovative
and entertaining series. But fan support for the show never wined.
Comic books,
Audio plays and Magazines assured it was never far from the public
eye. This
led to its returning as a one-off TV Movie in 2000 with American actor
Matt Goldberg
before it’s recent triumphant return to the airwaves with
Adam
Manley
now firmly established as a Draven for the 21st Century.
